Professional History

Lorenzo Battaglia graduated in 1997 in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Palermo (Italy), after having spent one year at the Polytechnic of Valencia (Spain) with an ERASMUS study grant, and having written his graduation thesis at the TUHH, Polytechnic of Hamburg (Germany).

He got his his Ph.D. in 2001 at the TUHH at the Communication Networks department. Since then he is active in Business & Systems Engineering at Astrium GmbH, one of the most important satellite manifacturers worldwide.

Since 2002 he is member of the scientific committee of the CCG, a german association providing technic and scientific professional trainings.



Areas of Interest

His current areas of interest are Business Case analysis, Product Engineering, Conception of End to End Communication and Navigation Systems ensuring Quality of Service to the users and adequate revenues to the investors.
